REFUGE NEWSLETTER

Greetings in the name of Jesus. This is Pastor, Marcus F. Cage. I pray you are safe and healed by the stripes of Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, we all find ourselves in this global pandemic and dealing with the murder of Goerge Floyd. It is truly a time to restore hope and healing to our community. I realize the threat and severity of this situation, and I pray that you continue to join with us to pray and fast daily that God sends healing to the Twin Cities and world.

As a faith family, we want to make sure the Blood of Christ covers you and your household.

Isaiah 53:5 (NKJV) 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

As you may know, many states have slowly started opening their cities. In fact, Minnesota’s Governor, Tim Wals has agreed to open churches for in-person worship.

Of course, we are very excited to get back to worship in-person with the whole Refuge family. With this in mind, we want you to know that The Refuge Church (leadership team) is doing our very best to provide the most sanitized and safest worship environment for you and your family. Due to the current situation, we have made some changes to how we plan to worship:

  1. Disinfection protocol. We are using commercial disinfectant before and after each service. Chairs, tables, knobs, bathrooms, equipment, and all touchable surfaces.

  2. Suspension of Kid’s Rock. Our kid’s area is closed. All toys have been put away. We know that the whole family will be worshiping together for a season, so we have planned to shorten our WORSHIP services to 90mins.

  3. Specific Seating. We now have family and individual rows designated in our sanctuary. Family Rows are for families only or groups of friends who do not mind sitting together. Individual & Friend sitting is self-explanatory.

  4. Our Hospitality Team will greet you wearing masks and gloves for everyone’s safety.

  5. 2 Hand Sanitation tables will be provided.

  6. Our Fellowship Sitting Area is closed. We are only providing two tables and seating for Seniors and Persons with a Physical Disability.

  7. Cup of Faith. We have set up 6 feet distancing while getting food.

  8. Prayer. We consistently pray for healing and protection for the body of Christ and our house of Faith as we get back to in-person worship.

Please feel free to wear a mask and/or gloves to our worship services.

We believe our protocol meets suggested business standards.

We respect the decision of those of you who have decided to practice social distancing during this time. You are not condemned by God neither by the Refuge Faith Family. Remember if you have a need or just need to talk please contact one of the leaders or myself at 763-607-8544. Please call within business hours 10am-3pm Monday-Friday. We are committed to doing our best to continue working in the ministry God called us to, which is to, preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to be a resource for our community. If you can’t make our in-person worship please watch on Facebook at www.facebook.com/mfcage. Also please continue to financially support The Refuge with your tithe and offerings. As you may know, many churches have been facing serious financial set-backs due to Christians neglecting to send their tithe and offerings. We pray you to continue to be generous to sow your seed, so God God can keep the windows of heaven open in your favor.

We love you all and would love to worship in-person with you soon. There’s nothing like in-person worship. We hope you don’t settle for the virtual church experience for too long, but start praying about joining us for in-person worship.

Hebrews 10:25 (NKJV) 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

Praise Report: No one who has attended our in-person services has been diagnosed with the virus. All glory to God.

God bless you and your family. We hope to see you soon.
